WHO IS LEA GORF?

Lea Gorf  is a German author whose writing explores the emotional, social and professional realities of being twenty-something. Through thoughtful storytelling and structured self-reflection, she explores what it really means to juggle your twenties in a world that demands certainty before there is clarity.

Lea holds a Master of Science in Sustainability and Tourism (2024). Her academic background in systems thinking, behavioural change and sustainable development shapes her writing style: analytical yet personal, structured yet profoundly human. She sees life transitions not as abstract concepts, but as lived experiences shaped by ambition, doubt, mobility and growth.

Her debut book, ‘Still Figuring It Out – What It Really Means to Be Twenty-Something (Not a Self-Help Book, but a Self-Discovery Book)’, challenges the polished narratives often associated with young adulthood. Rather than prescribing solutions, the book creates space for reflection. It addresses career uncertainty after graduation, changes in friendships, homesickness, the construction of identity, modern dating, and the unspoken pressure to ‘have it all under control’. Each chapter combines personal stories with interactive elements that encourage readers to pause, ask questions and formulate their own evolving perspectives.

Lea writes for a wide audience. She speaks to twenty-somethings going through a period of transition, to those approaching this stage of life, and to parents or mentors seeking a deeper understanding of the experiences of this generation. In her work, she defines uncertainty as growth and discomfort as a sign of transformation.

In her writing, Lea situates vulnerability within strength and presents reflection as an active practice. She does not offer definitive answers. She documents the process of becoming.
